Up until the last 2 performances I thought we were building nicely towards September but from what I've sseen from those two efforts and the Hawthorn v Sydney game we are a mile off the pace. I know injuries play a part and we've had our fair of ins and outs to some key players but anything short of our best 22 100% fit and we are no chance in September. Huge game this week against the Cats. Time to extract the digit.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Hawks Swans was a fair distance better than Crows Pies.
Lucky the Blues dropped some uncontested marks in the dying moments, oh and what brilliant over running and defense, as you say, when Wood kicked it straight to Ballantyne. No Fyfe, no Dockers :-)

Wet Toasters are fried dude!
Carlton were over run by Fyfe, not Freo :-)
Hey, no dramas here, good teams find a way to win.
I mostly enjoyed the game, just hate when one team turns to crap so the other one can win.
Blues choked, plain & simple.
You'd know all about that wouldn't yo Anchorman?

I guess the old adage applies here that good teams find a way to win when they are not playing well and that is what the Dockers did last night. Of course they are not playing well enough to win the premiership at the moment and Lyon admitted as such last night, however it is only the 1st August today and premierships are not decided in August. There is still plenty of time to turn it around and the fact they have got some steep challenges over the next four weeks may be the trigger to get them back to their best.
