Freo should of won by a country mile against the chokers and Hawthorn werent that good.. Lot of missed shots cost Freo the game. A game they should of won by at least 3/4 goals. Ordinary effort and it cost them a Flag.

If Geelong hadda kicked straight i dont think Freo would have made the GF, so the "missed shots" arguemnet doesnt really stand up, if we are going down that path

I fully agree unk. See my other post - kick a goal instead of a point...ball goes back to the centre and it's a new ball game.

Never really in it for mine as Whatley said on offsides today, game was all on Hawks terms

Lyons becoming a professional gf loser, Whatley gave a run down of all the low scores his teams had kicked in GFs,,,pretty hard to win them like that,,,a 1 goal half was deplorable.

In saying that, it was a pretty ordinary gf, mistakes, poor skills never reached any great heights and the lead never changed once.
