In my opinion,  a great choice by the players and coaches for our new skipper. 
Alex Pearce had a great 2022 season, both as a player and a stand in  skipper for Nat Fyfe .
His stint will allow the two VCs, Brayshaw and Serong  to mature that bit more. Both are true leaders already, but another couple of years to learn won't go astray.

I’m not sure about that. Prior to last year he struggled to get on the park and now already suffered a hamstring injury in the first hit out against opposition. Fingers crossed for him because he’s had a wretched run with injuries. I didn’t like his comment that he wants a flag now. He also had a poor game on the weekend. Might be getting ahead of himself. Keep those statements internal if you go making public statements like that it’s going to bite you on the arse.

If he starts breaking down again Brayshaw will be the leader I think he’s already proven to be and happy to say he’s proven me wrong. In his first year or two I didn’t think was anything close to being an A grader.

Pearce was a great stand in last year.He was a walk up start.Yep has been injury prone until last year. Maybe his body is ready for AFL now. 
And hacking Brayshaw... Gimmee a break.

 

Do you always have to be a drama queen a/man? Can't you just respect someone has a different opinion? Brayshaw's first year or two yes he could run, yes he could get the ball but he butchered the ball. He's turned it around and now in the A grade territory.

We've just come off the last few years where Fyfe barely made it on the park as captain. We don't want another captain who we rarely see on the park.

Not a drama queen at all. But why does there have to be a negative to every post.
Just be nice to see some positivity about,"OUR" club.

You live in dreamland mate. I'm one of the more positive Freo supporters but unlike you I don't look through rose coloured glasses and I'm not so sensitive to anyone else having something to say that's different.

There were a couple of mods appointed by admin on the Freo board that deleted anything that wasn't glowing about Fremantle.. They spat their dummy and run to the other side when admin overturned a deleted post,  hanging shit on this forum. You probably joined the chorus. FMD some of you are very precious. Good thing you don't run a forum mate. Don't blow it anchorman you are being silly.

All you have achieved here is turned a football topic into a bitch session.
