Last year Freo broke the great dominant run by WC, now it's Fremantles turn. That was a convincing victory, albeit against a weaker Eagles but Freo were missing a few bug guns too, Fyfe, Mundy, Darcy and Serong to name a few. Eagles are on the decline it seems. 

Yes they did what they needed to do, albeit not under a huge amount of pressure after the first quarter. The GWS game this week will give us a more accurate indication of where they are at, given that the Giants may be in the same part of the ladder as them competing for finals hopefully. Fyfes continued absence with the back injury is a concern, apparently he is going to take a conservative approach to returning so he may not be back for many weeks yet.
