Just hung on in the end after a powerful Eagles comeback but a significant achievement for a young Dockers outfit with a lot of big names missing against an Eagles outfit that was probably the strongest it’s been all year. A fitting way to say farewell to one of the clubs all time greats in Stephen Hill. What a player he was, one of the best in full flight.

Was a great Western Derby.First full crowd since 2019.Freo off to a good start and done enough to win..Great to see the Eagles fightback into the game..Still believe the Eagles have a tough few years ahead of them.

An important day for the Dockers. My young bloke went with a few mates from school - all by them selves for the first time - they all loved it, probably finally got him hooked on the Dockers. I don't know if we had a heap of stars out - really only Fyfe and Brayshaw out of our current best unless Sonny can reenjuvinate himself. 

Of the up and comers I was happy with Young, Walker, Schultz, Treacy and Crowden,

If Tabbs and Pearce can stay healthy we might have something to build on.
