Not that long ago people were critising Chris Bond for selecting a heap of mid range players, glad he did because our midfield depth now is fantastic which seems to overide the need for dominant tall ruckmen as is evidenced with West Coast dominating the ruck contests but getting smashed by a more efficient and faster Tigers midfield. Bondy knew what he was doing.

Another great win against the odds. To beat Adelaide over there who are travelling ok is huge before the bye. Plenty to look forward to after the bye. I don't think Sandilands will be a walk up start, he will spend a couple of weeks in the WAFL i think.

He came straight back in after his turf toe, so i presume he will do the same didn't seem to affect his second half of the year, he played quite well from memory.

On current form the Eagles will be struggling to win more than 3 or 4 or these IMO. They will need to find 7 wins out of this lot to even make the top 8. Pushing it uphill I think
