THE West Perth Football Club wishes to advise that Chief Executive Officer David Crute has accepted a full-time role with the WA Football Commission.
David will be talking up the position of General Manager – Umpiring and will be commencing in his new role at the end of January 2018. David has been at the helm of the Falcons since 2013 and has been instrumental in the development of the club’s new facility at Joondalup.

Don't know if theis good for you. he obviously did a good job working with JCC and the state government, well done to him. I reckon tho' it is great for the umpiring, the large gentleman who was in charge and the lead weight certainly need to kick in the rrr's given the debacle the umpiring has become, off the field I mean!

Not hell of a lot compared to other businesses but he may have picked up another ten grand over at the commission. I hope he greases up the umpires for West Perth games. I believe back in the 60s the home team would always leave a bottle of booze in the umpires rooms before the game.

Ward Harris also departs WP but word has it he was pushed,any truth to that and if so what was the knock as it seems he has joined Swans with the backing of the WAFC.
