A big FU to the Joondalup Council...great to see money not doing all the talking just this once. Congrats to WPFC for listening to the heart of its' people. Very refreshing stance taken here once again by this footy club. Respect!

Balls of steel at that Club. I thought they would take the bait. Cannt help but congratulate Raponi and the board, they listen to their members and stick true.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well done to the Board at West Perth. After all it is the members and supporters who are the heart and soul of any club. Be interesting to see if this story rates a mention on the mainstream radio/ tv "so called" sports reports?

Hey my understanding that the people had nothing to with it it was the board, I also understand that Ripony is annoyed, as is Pikhard and others.

Well done West Perth, it just wouldn't be as much fun calling you Joondy if that actually was your official name. But jokes aside we can't have the states oldest existing WAFL club selling its soul, that's East Perths job.

Joondalup drive will look different after the new function / club room area is completed. The power of advertising.

Why would the club need that $40g anyway, the taxpayers are paying for your new facilities.

True, but the tax payers are not paying for the all extras.
