I'm a bit concerned about this game. I hope history doesn't repeat where we have won the hard games in the past and lose games that we would be expected to win. Perth always take the game right up to West Perth and I'm sure they will do the same this Saturday.

Yes that's right. Two HUGE games coming up. This one and the Claremont (at home) taking on South Fremantle. After Perth had their last bye, they came out firing and almost snatched victory from Swan Districts. We are approaching the last third of the season. Would be good for the competition for Perth to power on, and win more games. On a number of rounds, they've just fallen short. West Perth would be looking to win to place themselves more securely in second position.
Claremont and Souths is the other biggie. Claremont's home ground advantage is currently +16. The Tigers have kicked 62 goals (at home) and South Fremantle have booted 65 goals in their away games. Both matches look like going down to the wire.

The last time West Perth left Lathlain park with a defeat was 2004 would you believe. There was a draw in 2008. That is a long hoodoo to have at someone elses home ground. That is not going to change on Saturday.

I can recall the game in 2008 when Adam Campbell took a hanger of a mark in the last few seconds of the game. I think he kicked the goal to draw the game.
