Hey John, do you know why the reserves wore their away jumpers against The Sharks.

No idea Steve.. They are wearing the same kit as the League guys.
Whats the difference?

The Reserves did put on dry jumpers at Half time.. so had to use the other jumpers thats all I can think of?

The only thing I see is the red and blue..
AH for the old days when they wore black or white shorts :(

The away jumpers have blue down each side as well as the stripe. Away jumpers have the Sunday Times on the neck and the home jumper is traditional with Lakeside Joondalup on the neck.

Very observant of you Steve. You are most probably the only person who picked that up?
I do remember the guys at Half time taking their jumpers off and putting on the dry jumpers so that is most probably explains that. Dont want our guys catching a cold :S
Must of confused EF guys as we ran over them :)

Shit I hope the WAFC doesnt know about it they might fine us for a dress code infringement and take the points off us... B)

Seems to jog my memory but a memory cant think of the time but werent WPFC fined a few years ago for the jumper they wore on a heritage day or something for wearing a Unauthorized jumper? Something about not having a blue sash on the jumper.
Something like that maybe you can remember it.. Dont know about the fine but WAFL not happy with our club.. or was it a club thing where the Sash had to be present on the jumper?

Refresh me Steve... A bit of trivia but it bought back memories. Could be wrong and stand to be corrected.

The jumpers have certainly changed over the years... Heres a Flashback pic from the 2003 GF... Certainly basic back then... Keplar was certainly a young gun then

YOUNG FALCONS CONTINUE TO BUILD INTO SEASON

Another article off the WPFC site re WP V EF.

FULL ARTICLE AT www.falconsfc.com.au/news/8391/young-fal...to-build-into-season

Gives a good roundup on how we played and players to watch

The win gave West Perth five out of five wins at home this season and has given them every opportunity to work towards a finals berth. There is a lot to like about the way that the experienced and younger players are combining and sticking to the game plan. The colts went under but the reserves continue to improve every week and they had a comprehensive victory against the Sharks. Best players included Brent Fotheringham, Trent Manzone, Corey Chalmers and best was Joe Morrow who has returned from injury in very good form. Best players for the league side were Fowler, Black, Lynch, Luke Tedesco and best was Chris Keunen. Good luck to the players selected in the State side next week and the next game will be against the old enemy on WA Day on June 1. Another must win game!
