Good roundup of the League and Reserves. Tells the story and well written

westperthfc.com.au/news/8389/falcons-dow...-move-to-second-spot

In part and totally agree with this comment.. It was a bit of a worry where we had to win games at the death and it could of gone the other way.

The Falcons have pulled off two remarkable comebacks against Swan Districts and East Perth in the past month, but on Saturday they delivered a much more consistent four-quarter performance to end up beating East Fremantle 16.9 (105) to 10.13 (73) at HBF Arena.

If we are fortunate to make Finals and GF day, we are the masters at knocking off the favoured or more fancied opponents.

is that statement based on that solitary win over WCEP in 2013 Leedy? ......don't think you have won enough flags to be called masters of finals or GF footy yet mate ;) .......

though you did play well on Sat v EF.....totally outplayed EF in both the league and reserves games.....fark what I'd give for Manzone or Chalmers in EF league side.....Chalmers 3 league games in 3 years speaks volumes and Manzone footy credentials both would be pushing ROB and Anthony back to 1140 starts at Moss St for sure...... :P

Freeze,

Im referring to-

1995 v Subiaco (they lost 2 H&A games to our 8)
1999 v SF (they beat us 4 of the 5 games and were aligned to Freo)
2003 v Subiaco (they were the raging favourites)
2013 v EP (They were the aligned club and overwhelming favourites)

I reckon the 1999 win was probably your best mate...,.SF were full to brim with Freo aligned boys....makes Peel and EP lineups these days look sparse TBH......who were favourites the year before?.....I was overseas at the time and relied on my brother buying me a VHS tape of the game.....pretty sure EF were Victorian aligned that day.....Condon, Mellody, Madigan, Bromage and Bowden.....been a long time between drinks thats for sure  .....point taken mate and conceded!

The 98 EF side was a good one, you blokes lost a couple of key players early and it looked like things were falling into place for us on the day but we got a right old dicking.

Twice in two weeks - a fine then a reprimand?

Either both instances were debateable reporting ?? (not really)
or
This guys heading toward anger management classes .... and some time off

From the West Today
Meanwhile in the WAFL, East Fremantle’s Mark McGough was yesterday offered a reprimand after being reported for striking West Perth’s Matthew Fowler at the weekend
