For those not yet visiting the ground or up to speed with the trainijg to this point
I think we are in for a different perspective to consider on many of the WP players and the style the team is to present this year.
My info is some chages to known previous player positions - more emphasis on the forward structure being more accountable to 'close down play' on turnovers, the forward line generally is being given more training relative structures, over head marking skills, quick ball skills and team rather than 'individual' effort.

Its about time me thinks - lets see if the leadership group also come to the party? and drop some of the 'what about me' expectations of last year, but rather assist many of the newbies or non 'in the click' players to succeed and to be 'made to feel worthy'.... as the saying goes - that's where the turnovers need to be made.

I do look forward to the year ahead, with its improvements, its exciting new outlook and playing regimes and how WP take to bringing them selves back to a team of players - not players in a team...

Cheers

Good to see Bill trying some different things. Just hope to see Chris getting some help in the Ruck. He carried a heavy workload last season and his efforts were commendable as is shown in the State rucking stats.
Our forward line had no consistant target and we need a big man up there to support our team of small forwards and midfielders who kicked a lot of our goals and someone to present a target. Unfortunately our 2 recruits last year from interstate were not up to scratch.

Awaiting with interest. EF and CLA will set the standard looking at La Hincha's lists.. see us capable of getting into 3rd or 4th.

Thanks for the update Growler

History shows that most of our premierships were won in odd years, eg., 1969, 71, 75, 95, 99 and 2003.

Looking good for 2013!!!
