One person you forgot was RANDALL the ex president of Subiaco who is looking after his old club. Their lease came to an end so the WAFC decides to comphensate them with allowing to retain the bar trading and all the AFL functions etc.. this would be putting a couple of million into his old club.. Subiaco Oval belongs to WA football, not the Subiaco FC. The Subiaco FC did not build the grandstands to accommodate 43 000 people, the tax payers of WA paid for that but this club thinks it is entitled to benefit from it while the other 8 WAFL clubs cannot.

So we must look at the big picture.. It all comes down to the WAFL and the WPFC just getting on with what they do best.. Playing Footy. They have a good sponser who has kept them out of the Shit being channel 9 and a lot of other sponsers helping the club.
The WPFC is around 130 years old and will survive. It has a huge supporter base and will get people through the gates whether it is televised or not.
I will miss ABC with its Half Time at the Footy and a complete replay of games on IVIEW as many will contrary to some who didnt know what a great deal we had with them

So to finish off lets get on with playing footy and winning games. This issue has blown out and it can do no good for the mindset of the players and the club. We have a proud club that struggles as do many WAFL clubs to raise funds. A club who survives on sponsorship they create and are punished because of this. On the other hand we have
another club Being EP who have made little effort to raise revenue and were on the verge of bankruptcy making a $380,000 profit because of their alignment with a AFL club who must bow their heads in shame... Now is this a level playing field?

ps I did see your post re SAUTNER the other day and followed it up. The recruitment of him to the position of Operations Manager says it all.

One poster suggested Channel 9 Bring out a T Shirt in conjunction with Channel 9 that goes along the lines of CHANNEL 9 Major sponsers of the WPFC.

A red and blue Shirt with a big 9 on the front and the back. Red and blue of course with WPFC LOGO on it as well.. Nothing the WAFC could do about that and nothing that contravenes any WAFL laws as channel 9 are one of our major sponsers and they have a right to be recognized as such

A win win for CHN 9 and the WPFC... I suspect they would sell well and I for one would wear it to every game etc.. Would even wear it to a Broadcast game when WP had a bye.
Now that would piss the WAFC off big time.

Re the big game of the year the International round would love to see Channel 9 do a big segment on it as they did last year on ACA... It is news and they are free to report as a community news item...
