I dont think the big wigs/powers that be/let them eat cake WAFL'rs are going to get an easy ride this year -

With all clubs electing NOT TO SIGN contracts/agreements with the WAFL until they've had a better chance of reviewing the draconian overlords new rules such as sponsorship reviews over 50,000.00, the $1,000,000.00 in wages taken out by just 3 of the commision for thier arrogant and flippant up you WAFL clubs wages, and now the gutless stance taken against us at WP and the jumper senario, lets see where it all leads ...

Im guessing the fan is only just begun to whirl and the shit will be flung far and wide

I also note the WAFC didn't care for ch2 that 9 and 7 have been on jumpers the last year, ch2 had to suck it up

Hit , nail , head bang on Mark that's what has astounded me

To me it is not a question of the gonads but how your club managers (Raponi) a difficult situation not of your making.

As I said earlier, that's a good question Grump. Over the last few months the West Perth Football Club administrators have been able to resign all their sponsors to a two year deal. Some sponsors signed last Monday. I believe the club is on the cusp of signing a new major sponsor. If all goes well, the new sponsorship will be announced next week.

I would like to ask Mr Cooper. If the RAC sponsored the new channel seven wafl deal should the Subiaco Football Club have to remove their QBE logo off their jumpers.

Good point re other sponsors missing out on coverage on TV but how much do they really get.. I suspect most of the coverage is for people at the ground. I dont read the sponsor boards when I watch a game on TV.. I certainly see them at the grounds though..
Umpires interesting point.. Shit I hope Rick Hart doesnt have shares in Channel 9 LOL... What a tangled web the WAFC has created.. If they want to carry on like this Channel 7 and Cooper the Blooper why dont they disallow any sponsership signs at games telecast? Yeh I know that is as ridiculous as this WAFC decision ICW Channel 7.

Wow, unbelievable commentary from a commercial point of view.

So if the ABC sponsor the Eagles and dockers do they get the perks and exposure Of a whole competition sponsor like 7?

Again, I ask the question. What was wrong with the channel nine proposal. The commission wont say. I was told that the commission didn't even look at the proposal, they had their minds made up that channel seven had the deal and no other network had a chance. I believe that channel nine was going to telecast all games and finals. That's better than sevens eighteen games for a start.

How wonderful would it be to gain answers to that and many more questionable decisions this board of wrongfully entitled morons has made ...

Guess its likely to come after a certain ridiculously flaming hot place freezes over or when that other breakfast item sitting next to eggs starts to fly ...

How great would it be to see the commissions princess's of privelidge on a show like the ABC's Q&A!!!! ;) Thats one time Id love to be an audiance member.

The reason has been reported a few times, both in the west and Sunday Times. As usual if it is something that doesn't fit into the conspiracy theories around here it is forgotten pretty quickly. 9 wanted more sponsotship money to do the broadcast.

That's isn't even mentioning Sales 101 in which if your product is not the market leader you get your product as close as you can to the market leader.

If you are bringing out a new soft drink, you want it right next to the Coca Cola. Got a slow selling chocolate biscuit you try to move it next to the Tim Tams. WAFL is relatively low profile, get it to follow/lead into the AFL.
