With Xmas now behind us and the New Year on the doorstep, Im asking all and sundry their thoughts and concidered predictions on how the falcons will line up this year?

New players, reserve opportunities and more importantly changes in the current league players line up ......
Last years defence seemed to hold up and the stats (as much as I hate them) tell the same story.
But we have needs in the forward 50' that glaringly let us down in 2014

Goal kickers, forward structure change, pressure forward contibutors are the required fix this season if we are to reach and win finals me thinks

I do not believe any 'one person/player' or 'single move' will effect this.. so how far or deep do the changes need to go?
  1. who is the mover,
  2. who is the engine,
  3. who is the motivator,
  4. who is the agressor,
  5. whos the tackle machine,
  6. who is the go too man,
  7. who are the support crew,
  8. who stands alone in thier ability,
  9. who is on the improve,
  10. who dominates in their position,
  11. who needs to harden up,
  12. who needs to be accountable and who needs a big kick in the arse?

Growler,

I have no doubt we will be one of the big improvers in 2015. We have added Bradley and Zinetti to our forward line, add Fowler, Manning who were missing for the better part of 2014, Adams and Rodda can pinch hit when required and a 20% improvement from Crispie on last season and you will find it will be farely potent. Max Alexander will assume Hunty's role along with Rodda,Adams, young vanBerlo and King to fill in where required, the back half will be as strong as past seasons.

The midfield kept us a float in 2014, Nelly, Blacky, vanBerlo, Kerr, Razor, Potente, Rasmussen etc will be as good as any going around. Players to watch this year will be Lynch, Meadows, King, vanBerlo, Yarran, Sutherland to name a few, I reckon we will finish in the top 3 !!!

Happy new year Dan, don't forget Michael Lourey. This bloke is a gun goal kicker. Yarran will give us that edge along with Adams, Rodda, Alexander and Dennis Zinetti. Top 4 for me.

Shit ! I had a feeling I forgot someone, Lourey looks a likely type and a bonus tall in the forward line.

Think he would be good at renforcing the forward "press!"

Any assistance in the forward press would be great benefit to the team
Only the one player excelled and was enforced into that position last year and as soon as Kody manning was injured (by a west perth player ridiculously enough) and spent the remaining 5 weeks on the bench it became obvious how little we had in that dept. and how then we lacked in forward structure and sharp shooters / goal Kickers. Kody was no sharp shooter but he was one who always opened the road and kept the ball alive

Our average loss was by 3 goals and it seems that a lack of good forward press and a one percent player/s cost us exactly this amount ..... Hoping the introduction of new cattle will grow this area of the teams body

30 - 40 possessions a game players are fabulous , yes, but if we achieve 'no goals' from this, then their just stat collectors!!
Does anyone know how the sponsorship of players works?
Does the player source the sponsor or the sponsor the player
I've already heard of some very interesting connections ......

Even heard over the break that a certain TV celeb (big proboscis ) got his knickers in a knot when his thoughts weren't followed up with regards the team set up, game play etc........ can't say the name but the initials are BZ. Hahaha. Like arshole's every one has an ego - and like arshole's, some are bigger than others

Not surprised there G. The big proboscis would have been upset at missing out on it's extra payment. Many in the media earn extra money to focus on national sports rather than State based models. Competitions such as the Wafl don't fit their pay structure and is one of the reasons it's ignored.

He seems to have a lot to say for somebody who played ressies.

Honestly do you really think Bradley is going to make a massive diff?? He did SFA at Peel when he a chance to really shine.
