I watched most of the game. I was pretty impressed with Williamstown given they had taken nearly 24 hours to get to Perth. Your boys will have to play very well to beat them.......

Funnily enough having to travel to Melb for the final could break your season as the 100K purse will ensure Bill brings a full strength outfit and really playing here would obviously have been preferred, plus having to back up against a full strength East Perth days later could expose fatigue and depth, oh well time will tell..

Cardies have played a few times in Melbourne. Its not a big trip these days.

Its good that two non aligned teams will play off in the GF.

Interesting team put up by EP .. Light on Eagles and ones there 2nd rate really
Bottom line is EPFC doesnt really need the $100,000 or $40,000 really but suspect Eagles put their foot down and basically told them who they could play.

Williamstown had a shit of a trip over with lots of delays.

EP had 7 WEAGLES in but not the pick of the crop.

Strange comments... Bill will not use his full strength side and will maintain his usual lineup. We beat Box Hill in Melbourne with a team with 50% Ressies and they will do the same. He will not run on the Regular side with a game comming up v EP on 28 July after a Foxtel cup game on 22 July.
Our Reserves have shown they are capable of matching it with the best and a few would certainly be capable of a League spot if the opportunity arose.
He will most probably go with Lynch,Thrum,Antonio, Manzone,McPhee,Alexander maybe Branchy,Shannon and Rhode will be in that mix as well.. Embley must be due for a Foxtel game..
As you can see we have a lot of depth and the guys above are proven in Foxtel Cup.
Coaches call but one thing is certain he will not use the Full strength WP side.

We have $40,000 guaranteed and a chance at the $100,000 Looking forward to the game.

Putting aside the last game v Storm this is the side we used in v BOX HILL in Melbourne. Admit it has a predominance of League players but Bill rested some because of Injury concerns and a couple need a break. This is a pretty good lineup and should go close to this v Williamstown.. with a couple of Ressies changing due to form.. Sure the Match committee will come up with a good side
