How many times have the Kookaburra's won and then not sit back and say - good enough - how good are they individually and then 'as a team' and yet they NEVER GIVE UP!

The effort to get their last goal (#6)was as intense as their first goal - they hounded - harassed - defended - attacked....

To make a comment about the game it was an extraordinary performance for the Kookaburras to beat the Dutch 6-1 in the final. It was a wonderful performance by the hockey team and is a glowing endorsement of Ric Charlesworth's ability as a coach to bring out the best in his players and to reach their potential.

Its a privilege to watch this team totally enjoying their commitment to the game, the outcome & playing along side each other, giving their all to their mates, the coaches and the Ozy flag..
