Manning's mark wasnt bad but Tony Notte's mark from the same round vs Perth was better.

It was shown on Cam Knapton's weekly WAFL highlights package DW & it was almost as good as the Basso one and taken right in front of the pig pen!

You've missed the point completely Im afraid.............
Yes Notte's mark was specky and athletic
Manning's was, and why it was picked, a 'courageous' mark, running with the ball and into unknown territory - Notte's knew what was in front of him.

thing is Growler Notte wears black & white, notte red and blue......and that's all that matters mate......give me a gutsy running with the play mark any day mate.....sums up the character of the player TBH.....
