That may be the case MO but I can also categorically tell you we are not the only WAFL club that this is happening at as from my acute observations ;) only Claremont seem to be disciplined enough to carry out most of their coaches instructions consistently!

he must be a really respected coach if after 2 and a half years the players ignore his instructions every week..
poor selection doesnt help our mid-field, Rogers had to play as another target up forward, with Geapps held after 1/4 time we continually bombed it in to smalls..
Monagahan coached well in running our defensive talls out of the play and getting goals thru their smalls and mid sized players

Okay MO Rogers plays and who doesn't? For our crunch game against Perth this Saturday you would you drop from last Saturday's team and who would play in their places? I will allow you the flexibility of naming an additional player to be dropped if Embley plays for us rather than the Eagles this weekend.

I believe we have the players to be very competitive against all teams in the competition. However, when we don't play with the intensity required and overuse the ball we lose. Whilst we did not play that well on Saturday it should be noted that we lost by 3 points. I know a loss is a loss but it perhaps does show that we have the ability; we just need to apply ourselves consistently.

Boekhurst was horrible against Sth and had 8 possies as a mid against West Perth so he gave us nothing..
to me it was pointless including 2 mids for 2 talls last week, at least one mid(Boekhurst) had to go out of the side for team balance..
even Blight could have played and Simmo pushed forward..we were too predictable and had no strong option to kick long to - Simo or Rogers at least would have provided a contest down there and let the smalls play as crumbers.

So the only change will be Rogers in and Boekhurst out?

No problems VF. It isnt the most entertaining game I have seen except for the suspense and close finish. WP had a great 2nd qtr that got us the game. All up a good day.. Colts had an easy win and the Ressie shit in their own nest.

Mate the quality was incredibly bad by both League and Ressies
on a day made for Footy. No wind, rain and nice and sunny?

The reserves had kicked 1 goal for WP and Swans 2 up to half time.
It was like a winter game. Swans had kicked 8 points as well up to then as well. League scores wernt much better.
All the play was between HB AND HF. I find it amazing that teams had no problem getting into the 50 but they couldnt go the extra 20 mtrs or whatever. Goal umpires must of got pretty bored

VF 990 is doing the game so no Internet streaming. Looks like you will have to rely on WAFLONLINE who have live scoreboard and stats. Thats pretty good but no audio.
Team lineups on Thursday night or Friday can be obtained from WAFLONLINE as well under Season/live scores and stats.. of course this is the site for the live updates gameday as well... Suppose you would know all that but maybe somebody doesnt.

www.wafl.com.au/

Heres the Milestones and broadcasts for next week. Most probably wont bother with a thread on Peel v WP... For a couple of reasons.

I will most probably save some petrol or a train trip as well and 990 will have a listener.

I see Teddy is comming up for his 100.. Well done - as usual click on image for larger pic
