There was an excellent tribute to Don Marinko Jnr in "The West" a few weeks ago, Winger.
Clearly, along with his brother Ray (and I wonder if Michael and Tom were also brothers), he was a West Perth man but moved to East Perth for a couple of seasons late in his playing career.
Don's career was a bit before my time but the article mentioned that he was an assistant coach to Kevin Murray during the Fitzroy champ's stint (1965-66) coaching the Royals.
