Back from missing the last 3 games and what a roller coaster! Annihilated by Peel,a not unsurprising result against WCE and a state game result that would make all those who have represented the yellow and black with pride throw up.But that is now history.
Can’t emphasise the importance of this game enough.In real terms it’s the game of the round although ladder positions suggest Peel v SF might take that mantle.Have always had great games generally at Basso and this should be no exception.Bit concerned about our ruck and backline (as always) and whether SD can exploit those areas.Neither side are a high scoring side so the midfield battle will decide how much supply is given to the forwards and which side takes their chances best.Both sides can mount a case to win.Heart says us but Basso is a hard place to win at.Close game but home side should be favourites.

No Julian, Johnson again. Pegs straightens us up a fair bit and if Patto can break the shackles and play to his potential we will go ok. Swans will be too quick for us going by the scratch match so need to bottle it up and hope they butcher the ball as they usually do.

West Perth have won 7 of the last 10 games at Bassendean so I don't think your boys will be fazed by the trip. 
As Whinnen said Swans have a lot of pace but some of their close losses this year have been marred by poor decision making and skill execution under pressure, so they would need to tidy that up to challenge your guys

If WP play the wing / pocket setup and SD play the quick spread, we are rooted. Ok Melbourne played the pocket setup and won a GF, that style of play has been worked out. Love going to SD, that ground oozes WAFL.

Spot on Winger .If we do our usual bombing it long hoping our forwards take a mark invariably the defence will gather and if SD spread as you suggest we will be French Connection UK’d. We do have good small forwards who are good at crumbing goals but  if that’s our game plan we have issues.Although as Mikeh pointed out we have a reasonable record at Basso over the last 10 visits in recent years Swans have won important games when things are on the line.This is no different.Both sides NEED this win.
