I have been a Bill Monaghan supporter from day one, he is a top bloke. I cannot understand why Frank Stockley wasn't picked as a support ruckman to Chris Keunen in todays game. Bill did the same thing against Claremont the last time they met we all asked the same question, why wasn't Frank picked. I don't understand Bill any more. The way he addresses the players is confusing, he is to technical to the point of, what the hells he's talking about. For the last five years I have said we are deficient in the ruck with all due respects to Chris and today I saw two Claremont ruckmen who should be playing for West Perth. My opinions have been moderate on Footygoss and also on Ozfooty but there comes a time when things have to be said. When we lost to Swans a few weeks ago I saw a member yell at our president demanding the coach be sacked and I thought it was unjust and I still believe that. How pathetic is it when our number one ruckman falls ill and we have to dig up a ruckman from the reserves who has already played a quarter or two of football to play in the league. Its a blood disgrace WPFC. I have always said if you cant say something good about the West Perth Football club then say nothing at all but what happened to day was the straw that broke the camels back.

Hi Winger,Totally agree. Number i its disgrace that Andrews and Seaby are playing for the Tigers. Number 2 why would you pick Stockley in the first place to help Chris.
When they missed out on Seaby they should have chased another ruckmen. Chris has been carrying the ruck for far too long.

Winger, this must of upset you pretty hard as you normally keep a cool head...but hey I feel your frustration with the ruckman situation, watching Seaby on Saturday playing against us really pisses me off especially knowing that we have been one ruckman short for the last couple of years.....you can also throw in Andrews and my pissed off status jumps to a new level how the hell does Claremont manage to recruit these guys and our club lose them??

Also like you said playing Frank for basically 5 or 6 quarters of football is ridiculous, he should of been in the squad to help out coons anyway, he must of been rooted after that game poor bloke..

Anyway lets just see how the second half of this season pans out!!

You guys are in a far better position than you were this time last year and I reckon you lost nothing apart from the 4 points on Saturday, a gutsy display in adversity so that is something to build on

And Chooky Fowler who has played 3 BLINDERS and a bag of goals over the last 3 games?
Agree Winger as die hard supporters that watch the games cant understand why if a player plays well consistently he is not elevated when there are a couple who stay in that are not performing. I thought the Todd Curley days were over when Bill came along?

Having said that it is a hard task and our guys with so many outs v CLA showed we had the spirit even when Frank had to play half a game in the Ressies and then the full league game with no support. He should of been in the original League side against Seaby and Andrews seems logical to me?

Not taking anything away from the guys that were out there as they never gave up but it could of been different.

I was impressed with Josh stepping up in the Ressies when they lost Frank in that game and won from behind.. Just goes GIVE A BLOKE A GO AND HE WILL TAKE IT. Thats the WP spirit..Lost a bit of faith in Branchy recently but jesus he came out after half time (as they all did in the Ressies) and played a blinder.. Its all in the head as far as I am concerned..

Lets look a next weeks game and make our judgments then.. Kody will be back, Hopefully Razor.. Hutchy? Chris will be back.I have a feeling it will be a good result so lets leave our judgement until then..
Sometimes we are to quick to judge. Bill couldnt forsee Chris being out and Ray being out so early leaving us a man short.
We will beat EF who struggled to win against Peel.

Im a Stockley fan and agree with some of the above, make no mistake Gents, the CL game was a shambles from the start and the boys were fantastic in their efforts and as far as Im concerned we are that well advanced from last year it is embarrassing.

We have the desire and fight that is required to have an impact on the season, the only thing we must do is beat EF & SD in the next couple of weeks !
