Cardy seems to be taking a break, so I'll kick this one off.

West Perth seem to have a few injury problems but at this stage Salecic is the only definite out. Claremont get Bradshaw back who was playing well before injury. I have a feeling that the Falcons could upset the Tigers in this game at home. Both are coming off losses and have the motivation to bounce back. I reckon it might be a real arm wrestle, perhaps the Falcons have a little more to play for with 2nd spot on the line. They could sneak 2 games ahead of the team in 3rd spot which would be a good break at this stage of the season.

Enjoyed also reading the story in the West today about young Manning and how much respect he has from the coaches, other players and supporters. He does seem to be a very level headed guy who seems to have learned a lesson from the incident that he was involved in last year. Good to read an in depth profile of a WAFL player from a normally AFL centric newspaper.

West Perth has lost captain Jason Salecic following Monday's loss to East Perth and the Falcons are confident that prolific midfielder Shane Nelson will be right to take his place in the side despite injuring his ankle midway through the last quarter after already having racked up 27 possessions.

Matt Fowler, Brayden Antonio, Shaun Marusic and James Batterham are all making a strong push to come into the West Perth league side.

Few of the boys a bit sore from last week & the short turn around may take effect.Lets hope the Falcons can put a dent in the Tiger pride although ALL players must play to their maximum for the full game. Will be tuning into Fremantle radio for this one. Go West!!!

Loss to the league today but a lot came out of it. We never gave up and it almost worked. Sure Bill will be happy with the effort considering the outs and the new guys in. Chris Kuenen was withdrawn just before the game due to Migraine. Frank Stockley who played a half in the Ressies was brought in.
Razor went off in the 1st? qtr and played no further part in the game. He was on fire before that injury.

WP made it easy for CLA with to many handovers to mention :( Not playing in front and not being first to the ball. Sure it will be addressed.
But all up not a total disaster in a game that CLA were picked to win easily.
Cla are certainly going to be hard to beat in any game by any club all the way to the GF.

Good news WPFC Ressies won and that makes it 3 in a row against 3 top sides.
Still a lot of work to be done but getting there. Well done to Paul Sanzone and his team.

EF next week at Shark park again next week. Strange we played the last round there in round 8? We wont go into the fixtures as they are a mess.
Totally agree with ABC Sportstalk today -No AFL games in WA this round and the WAFL give 3 teams a Bye today -Major fail!?!

Proud of the boys today, as you said Cardy they never gave up and with the amount of boys out they did a great job to pull in that huge lead.

Interesting injury list Cardy, Razzor did not play today maybe he should be on the list also??

Here are the reserves stats. I have watched the last few games.
It has got me Fucked why Fowler hasnt been bought up to give us another option in forward line. His last last 3 games have been blinders and he has kicked a bag in each game.. Someone told me today it is because he is not good in General play.. Hey if he is marking and putting points on the board who cares?
Rasmussan, Antonio, Branchy (had a return to form loved his goal in the 3rd? it was the goal of the day when he ran 20 mtrs to intercept a CLA kick out took the ball and kicked a beauty :) )
All up a great team effort to turn the game around again. The stats dont show a lot of the 1 percenters from a lot of the guys..

The ressies are the forgotten heroes of the club. Try and get along and support them. CLICK ON IMAGE FOR BETTER VIEW.
