Good news for you guys with West looking like returning to the fold for finals. WC look very likely to be out of the finals after this weekend, almost no chance of beating Brisbane in Brisbane and Essendon almost certain to beat the Blues, so West should be made available and rightly so, the mid season draft is an abomination.

Good for the Cardinals I'm hoping we get Matty Parker back over for our finals sortie as well you can only hope I guess

Gee forgot about Parker, he was big for you guys in last year finals. He would qualify as well, but will have to do 2 weeks iso to get back in, Richmond would need to make a quick decision or he'll miss the first week of finals if release and if he wanted to come back.

Thought anyone currently residing in Covictoria was not wanted in COVID clean WA.....especially during these concerning delta variant times....

we didn't have Matt Parker last year he was still with St Kilda - you might be thinking of Cody Ninyette though

They have until next wednesday to get back to WA but will have to pay for their own 2 weeks hotel iso, if they had come back earlier they could have done home iso. After next wednesday there is no way to get back in unless your a pollie or required commonwealth employee or emergency worker. people had plenty of time to get back given how long the the Gold standard state has been in various stages of lockdown with hundreds of daily cases..

I think that rule only applies to players taken by Freo or West Coast, don't think it would apply to Matty Parker.

Any player taken in the mid-season "rape and pillage" of other footy leagues should immediately return to their non-AFL club as soon as the AFL club is no longer playing AFL matches in that season.

If the Eagles say no and WP push it, he will play.
