The big three, Claremont / South’s / Subiaco. WP had to win this game, we had to take out one of the big three to be in the race and respected. We nearly beat Subiaco, today was important. The boys pummelled Claremont with hard run, hard tackling, bloody good coaching and a fellow who has a coil that sparks up when needed. South’s are our nemeses. If WP recruits a couple of ex AFL players that are fresh out of the AFL system next year and with the current crop of local talent, we will be a force. What concerns me is other clubs wanting parts of our zone. Keep well all.

Winger your recipe is working well and yes a couple of recruits might help but the OZ footy community would rage if yu did that with the debt still in folks minds.

Having said that it was a great win and I suspect Mr Hutchings maybe back with you sooner than later, not sure what his points are given he is an EP player orginally.

I reckon it’s only a matter of time before this game is declared a possible exposure site. This will include players and staff and could derail the whole season.

Hey Grump, your right. Contractors have to be paid out. I hate it that contractors got four cents in the dollar. Im self employed and i would hate it if it happened to me. In regards to Hutchings, EP rejected him because of his hip problems.

Bloody handy result beating Claremont, you never know, thing will tighten at the top but I reckon the top 4 is set, just a shuffle or so of possies, but I still think the Monts wil be hard to dislodge from top.

Partly correct Winger on Hutchings I believe. East Perth never rejected him out of hand. Micale in his direct honest approach told him he was not a walk league start and would have to earn it. Most coaches would of just said we really want you, get the signature and go from there. Obviously West Perth was smart enough to say the right thing and reap some rewards.

The Hutchings thing as I was told but heresay is just that, apparently when he was delisted by StK Moss had been delisted by Hawthorn and they had offered the development job to Moss and could afford to have Hutchings back. Hindsight being a great thing I would have though Hutchings would have been better playing option but Gary did a really good development job.

Maybe he could come back to us as a one point player where he would still be a (not sure) points player for you.

i  doubt hutchy would be anymore then a one point player as he was drafted by west coast from west perth and has to be released to them if delisted.i think he would be also a one point player for east perth as he played league footy for us.i suspect west coast might be interested to have him as a marquee player.they are allowed to offer a couple of players a bit of coin.first year it was brady grey and fraser mcinnes.if he wants a premiership  doubt west coast is the place to be.if it's money who knows where he could end up.
