This should be a ripper, Hampson unlikely to play and Conner West has been rubbed out for a week so that balances things out although we may have faired better out of the two. Swans a bit of an unknown with a number of Vic recruits and we are going in with a lesser side than last year (on paper). Any thoughts people ?

Is Meadows back Leedy?
The recent recruit from Vic Matt Lloyd brother of Sydney's Jake could be a handy pick up.
Also picked up a couple of handy types from Subi in Hobley & Chapman I see.

Local product Meadows is in quarintine, will be back v SF. Our only Vic recruit in Lloyd looked a likely type last week in the reserves from all reports. Hobley and Chapman I don't think will feature in the League side much like Sederis, Bayok and another Feral you guys recruited, the name escapes me at the minute.

Team Selections are in, not a bad line up, West will be a loss but we have cover for him. The extended bench should see Alexendre, Patterson, Gaudagnin, Antonio or Nelson fit into the final 22.

Sheezus, we made hard work of that, abysmal 3rd qtr that near on cost us the game. I keep harping on about us being much better when we go direct or throw caution to the wind, we are shit loads better. Happy with the points, couldn’t tell you how we will go for the remainder of the year. A big thanks to Blacky, will be one of our greats by the time he retires and I reckon Kris Shannon played his best game for the club with 3 goals to boot.

OK, Matt Lloyd, what a ripper game from this lad in the seconds, he thread the ball through the packs with precision, he will play league. Craig Farmer from Merredin, also in the seconds, he knows how to play the game and his run down the wing and kick a goal from around 45 metres out was magic. Tristan Hobley was another player who impressed me in the seconds, recruited from Subiaco who fielded eleven players from outside their zone today but that’s another argument. Today’s game was a grind in the first half and very defensive. Swans beat is in the pack marks, two ripper marks by Tyler Keitel and Kris Shannon with three goals would have to be his best game. Zak Patterson’s first game was good, he looked a bit nervous, short passed the ball where he could have kicked the goal. Dean Munns was solid in the backline along with Sam Rotham. Good job by Delaporte in the ruck, this bloke has good leap and good second efforts. Let’s see how we go next week against the powerful Bulldogs.
