Revolutions are: Zach Merrett has stood up & should edge out Stanton. New recruits in Darcy Parish & Aaron Francis look ready made. Orazio Fantasia has a NAB rising star nomination & is improved on last year. Patrick Ambrose slots in well in backline. Jayden Laverde has also improved in his second season. Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti & Conor McKenna run like hares so speed is there.
On the negatives are 12 -15 must go to allow for about 8 - 11 returning plus draft picks (including number one)
These could include Cooney, Crowley, Grima, Gwilt, Grimley, Simpkin, Stokes, McKernan, Kelly, Jamar, Grimley plus those in the VFL not deemed up to it.
These may not return: Stanton, Pears & Hibberd to Melbourne..
2017 looks inviting..

I think Essendon can look forward to a pretty good season next year. Considering the massive upheavals this year and all the controversy, I think they have done ok and should look forward to a good blend of experienced guys coming back and some good young guys you have mentioned.
