What a useless service

Ark I just came back from a couple of weeks in the Pilbara.Outside of Port Headland and Karrathur Optus is nowhere to be seen.Even Optus phone users use a Telstra simcard up there.

Have a read of what I posted the other day Ark under The Bar. If you want to switch to Telstra DON'T DO IT ONLINE, go to the Telstra shop because you will wait forever to get your modem. In the Telstra shop they give you the modem and Telstra tv box when you place your order.

I finally got a phone call from Telstra today, modem bundle arriving today and NBN Co rescheduled to this Thursday.

I've been with TPG the last 5 years but even if you pay extra $10 per month for free calls to standard lines and mobiles but doesn't include calls to 13 or 1300 numbers which is bullshit. No one pays for any call to any number these days from mobiles so it's a wrought these companies charging 35c a call to 13 or 1300 numbers. Most calls from home we make are to these numbers.

TPG was costing me $79.99 a month plus call charges so Telstra is $90 a month including up to 500 calls p/m to 13 and 1300 numbers and their modem has a 4G sim card so if NBN goes down it automatically switches to 4G and in my experience Telstra 4G is superior in speed and coverage.

They got a deal going at the moment $10 off per month for the first 12 months. Telstra tv box only $10 extra.
