Apparently has sold his Vic Park home and may be looking East for AFL opportunities according to the West Online. Is this a beat up?

I can’t read the article in full, but saying he has sold his vic park house ‘sparking rumours he is going east’ seems to be drawing a long bow - from a non sports reporter.

Given he has signed up to D’s, employed locally, has a young family and both sides of family located in Perth, perhaps he could just be changing house - like many people do.

Wouldn’t be like the West to be sensationalist.

A load of crap, just a mischievous bit of journalism by some chick named Kim McDonald. Tried to link selling his house with being recently spotted working in the Barossa Valley (part of his job) and that he had “previously said he was keen to continue his career in the AFL”.

What a terrible headline- click bait at its best. A couple of Hail Marys in the article as well. The standard of reporting now, across the board, would have to be at an all time low

Nothing new here. What have we known all along?

1. He is a free agent.
2. He has previously stated that he still has AFL aspirations.
3. He is working for Scott Spalding's wine distribution business
4. He has signed a contract to play with the Demons probably with an out clause should he get an AFL gig.

So he has sold his house...big deal. Everyone sells a home sooner or later.

And guess what????

He didn't buy one in Moss Street.

Hopefully he is not leaving, and the story is a beat-up as suggested.

Otherwise, the loss of his 80+ goals would be an insurmountable hurdle to Perth's quest to make the finals for the first time in living memory.
