Great win by the boys today.

Particularly with O'Sullivan & Ash Smith out of the game before half time. Despite a twinge in the back in the second half Stacky was superb to end up with 6. Amazing what a season makes, this year he has been superb.

Was also impressed with Eyres' last quarter.

They do believe in themselves, great win now for WP at Joondalup.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Was at the game and have just watched it at home. Brilliant from Moddy. Back line is great. Hope Chance hasn't done another hammy as Ken Judge has said. Great rousing version of our song at the end.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Great win and should give the boys a lot of confidence going into next week....Hopefully Tunbridge returns we could even have Butler and Mzungu which would be a bonus. Looks like Hug and Mather played well in the ressies.

Was impressed with Busher down back.

I was impressed with the Bush as well. Looks interested. To be a great forward I think one should know how to play back btw. He will improve even more.

How many did Deaves kick in the ressies? He is second on the ressies goal kicking list.

Have we any info on Chance = His chat can not be underestimated.

Butler, Houghton, or Johnston in for Ash Smith.

If injured Hug in for Bateman.

Colts to prevail next week>

Great win to the Dees you played great team footy and look like the real deal - All the best for the rest of the season. Brett Hodge sensational game. I liked the look of your big men to - They rucked well and did a bit around the ground. I think Perth has been stuggling over the years for talls down back and forward you look well balanced.

Yes it was top game of football to watch. Great thing from a Perth point of view was that they finished full of running just when Subi surged towards the end of that third quarter.

I've seen Subi play a few times this year but that was a different Subi out there on Saturday. Maybe the influx of youngesters helped. Couldn't believe the job Bogensperger, in his first game, did tagging Ali Smith who finally broke away from the middle of the third to really set up the win. And David Madut, boy does he look exciting. Saw him on Sunday up at Kingsway giving out footies to the juniors and he said he was a bit sore after that game but he looks a super talent in the making.

For us I though Brett Hodge's job first on Mahoney and then Bristow was just outstanding and Matthew Moody, thank you to the WA Police Force for getting this bloke super fit. He's been sensational all season through the middle and he really stepped up in that last quarter when the game was on the line.

Gee you wouldn't want to change too much from that team at the moment but Tunbridge and Murray could be back. Big test again this week against West Spoon up at Joondy. Second spot up for grabs. Have to pinch myself when I say that - who would have though, Perth playing for second spot on the ladder. They are just playing great footy at the moment and no reason why they can't continue on again next Saturday.

Also great to see so many Subi old boys from the early 80s at Leederville on Saturday. Wayne Dawson, CB, Todd Breman, Brad Lohoar even the nude nut Brian Taylor. Top day.

I'm surprised no one else here has mentioned Julian Jacobs game. To say I wasn't super impressed with efforts would be an under statement. And Moody's class in the mid field has shades of Steve Johnson about it. He has the ball on a string and uses it beautifully. Perhaps a bit over the top but I never thought he was that classy.

Hopefully Chance hasn't hurt his hammy again. Geez he's been a great leader

When O'Sullivan got dropped the first person to run over and remonstrate was Chance! He may be little but he is solid as a rock and those young guys have really picked on that. I just hope he can stay fit and Perth a few years of service because he along with a hundred other reasons are why perth are doing so well at the moment!

Speaking of why Perth are doing so well at the moment....BTB your silence lately on the Perth thread has been deafening! I am almost missing your little digs at Perth each Monday morning......almost!

damned if you do BTB and damned if you don't mate.....one minute he's been shown the where the exit is by DF et al, next minute Perth folk are asking where the hell is he?.......all this 'yellow football' talk is confusing the fella......well DF, are you gonna allow BTB back on the Perth thread to take his medicine form Lucifer?...like a man.....or has he been banished for ever, apparently like Perth's old footy culture of failure and despair....never to be seen again?

you know the old saying BTB.....form is temporary.....failure is permanent! ;) ... things will return to normality soon enough...one way or the other....it always does....whether it be tomorrow, next week, next month or next year....things always find away back to their status quo....sort of like life with death, taxes and 1977 and all that......

I personally want PFC to continue on their winning way......it's good for the comp, this site, the Perth fans and the fall.......sometimes watching the fall is the best bit!.....
