It seems we owe his cousin and Sandover medalist Lachlan a big thank you. According to John Townsend Kieran wanted to join his cousin at Subiaco but was prevented from doing so under the new rules and his cousin recommended he join Perth. Thank you for the love Lachlan hopefully he turns out to be half as good as you or better. Welcome to the Demons Kieran, hopefully you can have a similar impact your cousin has had in the WAFL and help us play finals.



P.S Lachlan, can you put in a word for us to Zac Clarke as well? ?

10 points for a NEAFL player- gee whizz! If he hasn't been dominating that comp then not sure how well he'll go over here. Hopefully the big key forward Perth have been crying out for. JT does say "star" though...

Time will tell if he turns out anywhere near as good as his cousin.

I would suggest Lachlan has warned Kieran that if he went to Subi he would have to fit into their culture and work harder and train longer.
And play for the love of the game.

I guess little Cuz is taking the easier option than DF...less work for the same pay he would of got at Subi....no brainer there for little Cuz....can't see any other reason why he would come over TBH, if wasn't getting the same money Subi would of offered.....makes cents what little Cuz is doing....touch wood he is half as good as his older Cuz....

Surprising Dela didn't recommend peel to him, as they were the only club that didn't dog us...

Smokey, I have only seen Dela's stats from last season and they don't set the world on fire. Played 21 games. Averages 13 disposals, which is ok for a forward, and 5-6 marks a games, which is pretty good. However, only kicked 17 goals. That suggests he may not play as permanent forward, or that he plays a McInnes type role of pushing up and marking on the wing/half forward rather than closer to goal. Whatever the case, I hope that we settle him as a key forward, and don't muck around throwing him into the ruck.

Yes I saw those stats Ted. Nothing overly exciting. Looked at his highlights. Took a screamer on top of the pack. Kicked 3 goals in a losing finals side.
It would seem at 26 he may be a similar player to Guy Langdon.tho a bit taller.
Perhaps we should not expect him to be as good as his cousin.
If Subi were interested and feel miffed about not being able to sign him he may be a prospect.
