Not sure WCE reported anything.
Media suggested they were to make a signing shortly.
That's the way I read it anyway.

I’ve never felt too threatened like he’s going to tear us apart when playing for EP and last year the Eagles reserves but I just had a thought that maybe he’s always been under instructions to play to the structures and play second fiddle to others to his own detriment and maybe, just maybe he’s got more to offer if those shackles are taken off and is told to play with freedom and just go for it.

He’s got everything to gain and nothing to lose by playing for us while at the Eagles he will just be playing another role, sacrificing his own abilities and potential for the betterment of “the team”.

He could possibly win another Best Clubman award at the Eagles or he has the potential to play in a premiership for a club 40 years in the football wilderness and at age 26/7 and a mature AFL frame it wouldn’t be out of the question he gets another bite at the cherry if he starts putting in a few dominant performances at WAFL level.

The safe option for Fraser is, just stick with the Eagles and probably get a nice off field gig thrown in as well.
