Whitey, let it go. You've been on his back for nearly 3 years now and we have heard all about it from you over and over ad nauseum.
He is still there so give it a rest and try some constructive and positive comments for a change and if you can't do that better to say nothing.
For a bloke who was not going to support the club anymore you have got a lot to say.

"We're 3 and 1 and that is not good enough. We've got a long way to go to catch up and ATM we're struggling. Some big games coming up and I can see us sliding down the ladder. Probably favorites for the wooden spoon I'm afraid. I'm not getting ahead of myself but I'm more concerned about getting the chop than how we are travelling."

The TRUTH is always a good starting point smoker. I think you just about NAILED it. :woohoo:

Your monika Before the Bounce?
Is that abbreviated from "before the bounce where I was dropped on my head I used to have some intelligence"

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the PFC didnt want your son - well at least thats what you intimated and he was hard done by. So please take you bat your ball and go home. You are not wanted here.

Welcome aboard Aravan, nice first post. I tell you for a club that does not want certain players they sure do make it tuff for these Blokes to continue their football elsewhere. Elari is a prime example.

Once he was out of contract Elari was released immediately. Good luck to him.
Now don't start arguing that McMahon forced him to go. Like Rogers and JKT, he did not want to play for Perth. They all made their choice and they went just like your Sonnyboy.
As for your "Truth" comment I doubt that you understand a word that you spew out of your mouth let alone the meaning of "Truth".
The initial prognosis on that bump on your head was a bit off the mark. The longer term symptons seem to indicate something a lot more serious than originally diagnosed. Best you check out a change in your medication regime Duff.

So Smoker, if those three all left of their own choice (which was pretty bloody obvious anyway) and Leon decided he didn't want to play WAFL (for Perth anyway) and McDougall obviously falls into the same bracket as the above, Zucconi was a required player who lost the motivation to play under McMahon, Ross Young decided he'd had enough of trying to help Perth out of decades of doom and decided it was better to go home than to play for another WAFL club, then who did the club "CLEAN OUT"?? Why is this word even used?

The TRUTH is, all these boys left because of one man, the man in charge and there can be no hiding from it. A few more players have fallen into McMahons lap, not because of McMahon but because of the determination of his backers to try and prove everyone wrong. By the way Smoker, don't tell lies now, 3 years?? It started for me after the loss to WP at Joondalup last year, I make that about 12 months old boy. Some people like to stretch the TRUTH a bit don't they?

I have a problem with the term 'clean out' being used. Its an insult to those players that left of their own accord. There would be more in that category than those that were shown the door.

Totally agree Dazzler. Not one player, as far as I know, has been "cleaned out".
Yes, a new culture, new team rules etc have been put in place and that is something I have for a long time been a strong advocate of. And we are now seeing the results of those changes.
Some players left because they personally did not see themselves fitting in with the new culture. Others, like JKT, who has publicly said he loved the club but needed to move on to new challenges and others like Leon Davis and Zuccs decided they no longer wanted to make the commitment necessary at WAFL level.
As for Ross Young, no player was more loyal and displayed more love for the club and he very reluctantly went home to Victoria for family reasons.
There are far too many critics who pay little or know credence to facts or truth and, in fact, couldn't care less about the club. They just get their kicks by stirring the faithful and make little contribution to sensible discussion.

Listen up DD I am going to say this once and then you can disappear. There are a lot of people on this forum sick and tired of your drivel.

You favourite CEO did a review, certain players were not prepared to do the hard yards that players left have committed to.

They are no longer there and by the look of it they won' be missed.

Now bugger off.

End of story.

Good bye.

No I didn't, but I think you will find he followed JKT. They are pretyy thick I think.

I am not really sure that he was all that keen to continue originally but may be the lengthy lay off rekindled his interest.
