Unless it recommends a new CEO and President it will not achieve anything. It needs people with passion for club success on the field, not people who just love being around a WAFL club taking up space.

I see ex EF whippet Richie Bourne has found his way on Perth's playing list....been playing in the Goldfields of late....bit like Kyanga from memory, small but very quick,wish the guy all the best in his return to WAFL footy

You very rarely read about our club being linked to one player let alone three at the one time.

30+, it is the AGM on Sunday. If no announcement of quality recruits at that meeting then most unlikely there will be any and season 2018 will be done and dusted.

TBH a lot of luck goes hand in hand with recruiting....a player knowing another at the club, recommendation from others, character of the individual, employment opportunities not only for the player but their partner....obviously money helps and prospect of short term success..don't think EF have much of the latter two...for EF Griffen sounds like a good loyal character, Kommer is really good mates with someone down at EF , Jansen and Snadden are young enough to have mates from their colts days still playing at EF.....those circumstances are out of other clubs hands....

pretty sure Perth would of, like other clubs, spoken to a few of those EF recruits....ditto Swallow and Palmer....I am only confident of Swallow signing due his strong character and family association with the club....Palmer....mmmm not so sure....I know ex Carlton assistant Wiley got Watson here from Carlton, also linked to another recent AFL delisted player, but finding his partner a job is the clincher there from all reports. Who knows Perth might find her a job....

I too have been frustrated by EF lack of recruiting over the years, but now understand from association with someone close to the clubs recruiting, telling me EF were close many a time but no cigar due to many of those above mentioned variables. Have no doubt Perth being in the same boat.....more will come out in the wash over the next few weeks post draft, but you guys will get players, you have great facillities, respected coach and great fans.....understand the lack of the communication from the club is piss poor, but still plenty of time still....

What astounds me is not one word about Tunbride or Taylor.
Can't even recruit our own.
