It certainly goes to show that you guys will be up and about this year. I hope you boys don't take any notice of the crap that Leedy wrote. I didn't see that particular incident, but footy is played over 120 minutes, not 30 seconds. The poor dear must have done his hard earned! All the best (well nearly all) and if they keep playing that way, it'll be no shame in losing to the PFC.

58, I don't buy into that old chestnut ! when the mistake is made 40m from the opposition goal with 20 odd seconds left on the clock, it has a massive impact on the "end result". I couldn't give a shit who won, let the players play, if the maggots were paying attention, the correct decision would have been made, which would have seen a Perth victory. Pitty you didn't see the incident as we would not be having this discussion !

I would call it 1-all after the umpiring fiasco last weekend at Basso mate!

Too right mate!! Karmas a bitch

No karma there sunshine! We lost they won! You black and white supporters really need to work on your issues with loosing! Have you considered therapy?

If we keep playing like we have been playing the first 4 rounds, we should beat East Perth easily, just need to ensure we control their main two, Paul Johnson and Josh Smith.

I suppose you have a point as we are not quite as adept in losing as you blokes are the past 36 years!

Thamks for your support Swandog. It would have been a great win especially with Ali Smith off injured for the entire last quarter.

Credit has to go to McMahon now i suppose for having the fortitude to get rid of the blokes who were not on his page for whatever reason. Perth look well drilled and more confident in taking the game on nowadays..how would JKT and others be feeling atm. Long season though..

Perth showed heaps of character when down on rotations on a hot day v an AFL experienced midfield pretty much

I did see the incident in the Freo/Essendon game where Margetts fundamentally made a huge mistake by awarding a mark and then compounded the error exponentially by awarding a 50 metre penalty.

!

That was an absolute shocker , not only was the whistle late, the player had to commit to a tackle because it was a late (if not incorrect)whistle, and then a 50m penalty.

No feel for the game Margetts, should have set the mark and moved on with play, no way a 50m because he was slow on the whistle.

Don't be so naive Swandog , the ones that are any good left of their own accord, luckily for the coach Bateman came home and Marty Atkins brought his old mate Trevor Williams over and hence a couple of handy ruckmen came our way and I believe the CEO did a lot of work to get another couple of recruits over. It is no coincidence the changes in personal has taken place since Marty has been there and is no doubt a mentor to the coach.

No coach at Perth in the last 20 years or more probably since Mal Brown, has had the luxury of so many well credentialed recruits fall into his lap and has probably two of the most experienced assistant coaches going around by his side.
