What a great game of footy, best this year they say. Bad luck Perth - it could easily have been EF behind when the siren rang - it was that sort of game. It certainly goes to show that you guys will be up and about this year. I hope you boys don't take any notice of the crap that Leedy wrote. I didn't see that particular incident, but footy is played over 120 minutes, not 30 seconds. The poor dear must have done his hard earned! All the best (well nearly all) and if they keep playing that way, it'll be no shame in losing to the PFC.

They've raised the bar Perth on the quality of footy they are playing and they kept at it which is something Perth teams of the past wouldn't do.

Yes our mistakes cost us the game not the umps havn't seen a game decided by the umpires yet, the better side won on the day every time we got in front we held on to that lead for about a minute before EF took the lead back.

Geez we have some dumb footballers at the club work our butts off to kick goals and then give undiscplined free kicks away after the goal has been kicked straight out of the centre twice, and then Eyres takes a mark dont know what the **** he was trying to do ball gets smothered they take it forward game over.

Saying it was game of the year doesn't make me feel any better, these sorts of losses come back and haunt you as the Sowfs loss did last year.

Not being nasty but I thought he was in our worst 2 along with Ash Smith.

Will say that Ash Smith played very well last week though.

Just doesn't seem interested enough for mine though. No chase in particular annoys me.

OSullivan has done a hip flexer. When I asked him he said he will miss one week.

Eyers Winning kick last week. Some what of a blunder this week. Though he shouldn't feel too bad as you are allowed to do what he did for 3/4 of footy and 4/4 if the game isn't close.

Oh well we now must start winning games by some sort of margin so we don't rely on one or two kicks.

Hey Peter we also did our best to lose last weeks game with silly mistakes in the last quater but luckily steadied at the crucial time,thats one part of our game that McMahon will have to work on...how to ice the game when it counts in the last terms.

Now what a game! EF WELL DONE ON A GREAT WIN you were there at the end and took the chance to win like we did last week!

To the Perth boys you done a legion of sad and sorry supporters a good deed....... You gave us hope to the dying seconds of the game. I lost my voice today cheering for you boys and that is all I ask each week. This game was a testament to our ability as a footy side this year and even though there was plenty of mistakes made today the belief was always there!

That was a pearler of a game, got to see Perth for the 1st time and they have no doubt improved and were stitched up by the maggots, particularly in the last qtr. EF are a good side but don't look as dominant as last year, I have only seen 1 game so a lot of footy to be played yet.

That play on decision with the Perth big man at the death was an example of the maggots lack of awareness, Lester-Smith was within 2 metres (practically standing next to him) which enabled him to smother the ball, he should have been pinged 50m and game won by Perth !

Great game though, glad I went along.

Yep agree wholeheartedly with that summation Leedy and for the 2nd week running the umps influenced the final crucial moments of a game, as a neutral at the game my first instinct was to jump off my chair and yell `50m` as Lester-Smith was clearly too close to be able to smother that even after the play on call, which in itself was dubious too. Perth up and about and will trouble most sides for sure. And what about the 2x overzealous frees EF got from the centre straight after Perth goals that then resulted in 2 x EF goals. The better side lost today IMO. No surprises who the umps were today, the same 3 maggots from SD v Perth last week!!
