Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep !!!!! Same old same old I'm afraid.

There will be little of no information until all the trading and draft periods are concluded and then
it wiil be "we had a crack at Joe Blow and Billy Bloggs but we will be going into the new season with our development programme"
Sound familiar?

Geez I do hope those players named stay on board the competition needs a strong and vibrant PFC ....

The club review currently being undertaken by the club in essence is a positive move. Be interesting to see what recommendations come out of this on the way forward. I guess it's easy for me to say it as I have not had to experience the years of frustration and being told the same story, however give the Board one last crack at it is my message...

One main thing this club has failed to do in the past in an off season recruiting campaign is making the team stronger when we lose a gun player.

So to replace Tropiano it has to replace him with a like for like player and then recruit another quality mid.
In the Captains own words he won't recommit to the club until he knows he is going to get help in the midfield and that won't happen from the players we have from within and it won't happen recruiting just one player for the midfield that replaces Tropiano.

Nynyette was our leading goal scorer last year wasn't he, big chance to get drafted or at least rookie listed, shows how impotent we are in our fwd line.

Yep and that just highlights and underlines our lack of KPP's in the forward line.
Nynyette will get rookie listed at the very least imo.

Mr AFL wrote: Tropiano gone to either SANFL or VFL and Clint Jones apparently weighing up whether to play on depending on how recruiting goes.

The article also said the club is under review which should be completed by next month. How long have we been under review for? When did the review start?

It should have been happening in the second half of the season and have been finished so we can have time to implement the changes for 2018.

If it doesn’t finish until the end of next month you can bet that this will be part of an excuse if things don’t go favourably for the team next season.

Review undertaken by who? If it's internal then total waste of time but then that's what a few of them in there are good at. Where's the broom? Anyone seen the broom?

I'm pretty sure it's being done by some external mob.

Problem is are they sitting on there hands (not recruiting) whilst the review is on.

That is correct 30plus.
Cumberland Consultancy will be performing the review. from what I hear.
Apparently they are based in Shenton Park.
I would have been concerned if an internal review been performed.

This does sound like it's been WAFC driven and consistent with what Gavin Taylor said a few months ago that the competition needs a competitive Perth and not Subiaco playing in the grand final most years. An internal review doesn't sound like anything the clubs hierarchy would initiate including the current and past administrations. I welcome the review and look forward to the outcome and what changes will be initiated to drag this club out of the depressing state it has been in for decades.
