Anyway we are not getting McInness, Mzungu and probably Butler. Tropiano is leaving and God knows who else. Looking good already for next season.

We go from not playing the kids and getting Wooden Spoons to playing all the kids and getting Wooden Spoons.
It would be nice if we could find someone that had half a clue on running a footy club!

Cesspit I doubt whether McInnes will or would come back to Perth,he's been gone how long? and the club is no better off than what it was when he left.

30+, McInnes has been in the AFL system for 6 seasons now and only played 11 games. IMO he would have been delisted by now and only survived because of the Eagles' big man problems.
Would he have come back to Perth? Who knows?
Losing Tropo and probably missing out on Butler, Mzungu and Mcinness is certainly not helpful. And I heard a whispers that Sinclair may not play due to work commitments....have not heard that confirmed. On a brighter note, we will probably have Belly back in 2018.
Important to get Tunbridge back and keep him on the track.
We are a long way from putting a squad together that can take us up the ladder and to finals football. It would take a mamouth effort to achieve that goal any time soon.
Like you 30+, I'm not confident that we are up to that sort of challenge. I would love to be proved wrong.

The article also said the club is under review which should be completed by next month. How long have we been under review for? When did the review start?

It should have been happening in the second half of the season and have been finished so we can have time to implement the changes for 2018.

If it doesn’t finish until the end of next month you can bet that this will be part of an excuse if things don’t go favourably for the team next season.

I am sure we would welcome Clint back to the kennel in 2018 if he wished to finish his career at the place where it started..

You can bet that the other wafl clubs would be in full swing working on recruiting nup not this lot.

To be honest we needed, Tendai, Tunbridge, McInnes and to keep Tropp as well as Jones to move up the ladder. We also needed a dominant ruckman with the above guys to be serious contender. Now we probably end up with non of them - we are screwed!
We have nothing to offer potential recruits, which is why we always miss out.
