Mcdud was a shit coach but one thing he was right about was Duffy, he certainly made BTB look like a fool the way he kept up up the good fight regarding his son lol.

Touch wood Max Duffy's dad is pleased wherever Max plays TBH....

We need to get guys who can actually make a tackle stick. That would be a great start.

Also players who can kick the ball property over a good distance.

Guys like McPhail and Giblett are the worst offenders down back with bad kicking etc.

One positive for the year is Devon McPharlane, booming kick and generally accurate, reminds me a lot of Chris Bossong.

I wonder what will happen with guys like Tunbridge MCinnes Mzungu and even Michael Johnson at year end . A couple of them would be handy plus maybe guys like Clem Smith, and some fit players coming back ie Leggett, Spencer White , Cary.

The colts guys that are playing at the moment are no way near Narrier and Roe.

Was surprised to see Morrisey dopped thought he has been very goo.

Henderson Levien hmm not sure about them.

Chester and Browne have been around for a while, not sure they do enough either.

Would be good to see Matt Thompson come back into the side, he showed alot of promise last year but has been injured a bit. Also Lennon Marlin to come back.

Dont rate Giblett at all, everytime i watch him he gets beaten. Mcphail also terrible at disposal.

Levien is a very promising player. He did a good job on Ryan against Subi.
Etto did not play reserves after being named as an emergency. Does anyone know the reason.
I think depending on fitness both Irons and Marlin should come into the league side this week. Both have played a few reserves games under their belts.

Spot on Cesspit, Levien did a top job on Ryan and is a goer. Giblett similarly looks very promising as a KPP, something we have bugger all of.

It wasn't lack of effort that cost us on Saturday. They had to play with flair to take it up to Subi and they did but poor skills and particularly that last kick inside 50 killed us. When Subi got it they went laterally and leap frogged our guys down the ground to goal. I'm not sure we would have been more competitive playing any other way but gifting the ball back to Subi on a silver platter through poor disposal was the killer.

The season is shot so might as well keep playing the kids.

Dunno but if he's good enough he should play. Having said that there's no rush, he'll be around for another year. He's only appeared in a couple of colts games this season.

I agree with you Dazzler. There was no shortage of effort at all. In fact the players should be applauded for 100% hard at it footy right to the end. No heads dropped at all at any stage. But, skill level too low and poor decision making costing silly turnovers.
Everyone talks about recruiting for next season but let us not forget to address the poor skill levels. And while we are at it get some of these kids into the gym with personalised and supervised programmes to build them up. Until we improve body strength we wont consistently be able to compete with the top teams.
Don't complete your programme in the gym then you don't play.
