Even the WA commentators on WAFL games and on AFL games when referring to WAFL club players refer to "Best and Fairest" or "BNF" - I'm pretty sure it is not right and that it should be "Fairest and Best" and always has been...

Of course they mean the same just like Trivia Night and Quiz Night mean the same but we are in WA.
