I do look forward to a 100 game captain one day though.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Jonesy will be a very stable leader for you guys - you'd be hoping he can further educate blokes like Tropiano , McKenna , Sinclair etc who might be your next leaders

Sorry guys gonna have to disagree. I think its a soft choice. They went with the easy option. Why appoint someone who will only play for 20 maybe 40 more games. For mine a younger player who can lead for 150+ games and create some stability would have been a smarter choice. Bluey Mac is hard at the ball and appears to be a leader around the club. He should have been appointed - IMO.
