Love Stacky and yes, being the third or fourth forward will hopefully relieve him a bit from the pressure he's been under in this team to be the main route to goal.

I see that the club has had some enquiries from recruiters about Zareth Roe. As much as the kid is capable of playing AFL I'd love to see a tall, agile, skilled player like him in the league team next year rather than sitting on a rookie list somewhere. We're got so few mobile big men and he is something special. Like Sam Garstone he can play a variety of roles. Hopefully we can keep him for one more year at least.

Dazzler, I know that you have been a big wrap for Sam Garstone. He certainly did step up last year. I always saw him as being a bit of a lazy player but he must have opened a few eyes as he did mine last season.
Do you think he has further upside and do you see him as a key forward or a utility player?

I believe that David Myers has retired from AFL football. Does anyone know if he is back in town. I would assume that we have been in constant touch with him.
He would be a very handy 1 point player.

Myers whilst under the WADA 12 month suspension signed a 3 year deal in May this year to continue with the Bombers.
Why has he opted out of this 3 year deal?

Yeah he's definately still at the Bombers.

That would be Tayte Pears that has pulled the pin at Essendon to become a fireman fellas.

Heard from a usually reliable source that he was heading home. Perhaps not so reliable source afterall.

Myers is a pretty good footballer IMHO.
I would have thought Essendon would be moving heaven and earth to keep him.
Obviously a mistake made in that rumour.

Yes Smokey I'm a big fan of Sam Garstone and I reckon with more endurance he can roam a bit more up the field and through the midfield. Again a key forward would make life easier for him.
