Recruited from Fremantle CBC.
He is 24 years of age which is a surpris, to me at least.
He looks the goods.

He played really well in the last quarter again this week like he did last week. Garstone as well.

Dazz, Garstone has revelled in the responsibility thrust upon him since Angus went down. He has taken giant steps forward in that time and today he showed courage to return from what appeared to be a serious injury and to make a huge contribution to a great win.
Huge effort today by our depleted ruck..65 hitouts to 61. Stevenson with 40 was a massive contribution. Well supported by Garstone whose work around the ground was meritorious.

Yes true Smokey. He's such a versatile player. He took some telling marks in the last quarter today and he continues to stand up when the game is on the line.

He looked gone hobbling off 5 mins into the first quarter.

Yeah I thought Garstone was completely gone and gone early. He did take a while to get into it but two over head marks in the third and a gut running mark in Subi's full forward line 30 seconds after his kick across the face was simply sensational in the last. With him and Stevenson - Eyers will be struggling to get back into the team.

Loved the hardness at the contest from just about everyone today, heck maybe even everyone. I reckon Wilkins is still learning that particular trade though - but this is forgivable when you kick two goals out of the teams six. How about Sinclairs low down bump in the last quarter. I do remember a couple of others too but I wasn't quick enough to catch the player.

The back line held together well and I was particularly worried about this with the news that Bell has gone for the year. Latch, Sinclair, Ginanatti (who has taken out his ill discipline), Marlin and Edmonds all fantastic. Hopefully Edmonds leg that he injured at some stage in the game (when) will be ok.

The centre were fantastic. Interesting that the Trop didn't have too many possessions but a heap of tackles. I have really warmed to Jones after being critical early in the season. He now not only plays well but leads well. Blue has gone another level, while JJ and the Wolf super competitive.

Forward wise - Stack looks switched on for a lot longer and his "I'm getting this ball" attitude is now what a league footballers needs to be. Chasing opponents better too - but always room to improve here.

Everyone must be loving Leggett style. He would surely piss off a back man with his brashness.

Heres to speedy recoveries to our Captain, Gus, Irons and of course Belly (for next year).

We will be fitting these guys into the team over the next few weeks along with the Fish - so spots will be tight. Good luck to them all.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Listened to the last half on the radio at a very wet and cold South Yunderup Tavern.

Sounded great and the commentators were a big wrap on us.
They thought Perth were hard done by with 2 Subi kicks on goal in the last term,1 a free kick 20 out shouldnt have been paid,Goal.
The other a non mark paid play on in there opinion 30 out, point!

Its great that this team has a never say die attitude.

Lots to work with over the next year or two i just hope the club does the right thing by building on something that could go places,i hope the club doesnt have the attitude of sitting back and simply be happy with what we have got, they have done that in the past.

Stack set shot in the final was so critical that he kicked that goal.

Stevenson was magnificent, Marlin down back also very good. And the midfield excellent.

Next up the bye followed by Peel at home...winnable game!

That Peel game is our country game in Cunderdin demons2013.

Congrats to the Perth FC, great effort on a really crappy day for footy the surface was a real mess so I couldn't imagine what it would have been like at Leederville!!

Both teams put great pressure on each other, massive tackling by both sides but your boys ran harder and made more options for your ball carriers, your kicking was better and you used limited handball but to good effect, plus you had a couple of forwards who were able to convert on the day.

Only time Subi looked like threatening was in the last when Wheeler went on the ball and was just thumping it forward but you took whatever opportunities you were able and kept the lead then iced it with that massive torp at the end.

Well deserved win and here's hopes you can keep it going and snatch 5th place from the AFL teams, that would be gold.

I think we beat them 3-4 years ago at Leederville. Stacky kicked seven goals from memory and it was a TV game.

Commentators said yesterday we had lost 7 straight against Subi taking us back to 2013 I think.
Peel game is in Cunderdin, again confirmed for me yesterday on radio.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
