Bloody disappointed with today. Graham dominated the ruck and our midfield won plenty of the ball and created plenty of good inside 50 entries but just couldn't capitalise yet again. Should have had 3 or 4 goals on the board before WP scored and should have had 3 or 4 goal return on the 3rd quarter.

I thought they looked frustrated at 3qtr time knowing they wasted the quarter and fell away badly in the last qtr. Jones, McKenna and Troppy all good, Dene White ok on his return from a long lay off. Garstone is continuing to develop and provided a good target and probably needed to be used more often instead of using Callum Walley who should be the crumbing forward.

Looks like Latch went out of the game around half time with a hammy. That's going to really stretch us. We could certainly do with Spencer White but if he's got shin splints those things can take a long time to overcome.

Well done the colts. Keep it up boys.

Yes disappointing by the sound of it.
As you say our stats are showing our competitiveness.
Pleasing thing about Angus is he doing stuff around the ground and picking up possessions.
Just no tall forwards, although it is pleasing to see Garstone develop.
Given WP's place on the ladder, the ressies were a disgrace.
Good to see the colts deal with the WP.

Horrible game of footy.
Our footy skills don't seem to improve from coach to coach season to season.

West Perth in the first quarter seemed a long way off the pace and we should have iced the game in that quarter,a good team would have.

The second half of footy by both teams was terrible.

Angus Graham did dominate but he does drop a few marks that he should hold.
Also in the last term at about the 10 minute mark he stood a mark at 45-48 metres out and the ball went through at a low height for a goal, had he been on the goal line he certainly would have touched it.
For mine thats where the ruckman should be (on the goal line) and not standing marks at kicking distance.

Julian Jacobs gets plenty of the ball but just how many of those disposals hurt the opposition?
Dont get me wrong i cant question how he goes about it but as a high possesion player how damaging is he?
Callum Walley as a small forward doesnt do enough imo,yep he can do the flashy things but how consistant is he.

When Spencer White is ready to resume I hope Spalding keeps Garstone in the side. Would be something different to see a two pronged tall man attack plus Graham drifting forward. Could cause the opposition a few headaches.

I did go but finding our games too difficult to watch when they are close.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!
