Disappointing game today. IMO to many passengers on the day. We need to play the boys who are clearly at Wafl level, the ones that with a few games will some so much. I like how games have been given to the likes of - Marlin, Garetone atm as they will be solid wafl players in time. Don't need these players in the side that are in the team purely as fill ins. Why isn't Mills playing? Played down back today and dominated opponent. He looked good when he played league, even if he is young. Players like these need games in them! What are your thoughts? I think a few of the 'regulars' need to be challenged if not dropped to improve them.

Good to hear about Mills we need pressure coming from below - depth.

But for me while skills again let us down we were very competitive and we had genuine opportunities that we butchered. I reckon we butchered 10 genuine goal scoring opportunities that had we taken could have been a different result.

I cannot fault the endeavour of our boys this season apart from the South game but they don't just need to work on skill level. It's as much about singing from the same hym sheet so when we've got ball we are rolling forward creating good options and when they've got ball we switch gear to cover and get it back.

We are a work in progress but some good signs especially among the younger players coming along. Tropiano was back to his Sandover medal winning best today. Maybe Spencer and Dene White come back in a fortnight against WP.

I didn't see the game today for obvious reasons.
I was concerned at half time because I thought it was going to be a blowout.
Interesting to note that in the first half our inside 50 count was virtually the same.
The bad part was they scored every time they went inside 50.
Could someone who was at the game offer comments on the second half.
We won both quarters albeit marginally, was it due to us being defencive or were we just better than we showed in the first half.
Pleasing to see Angus beat the opposition on his own for tapouts again.
He has really stepped up in the last couple of weeks.
But he needs help, or we will crucify him as we usually do to ruckmen.
Yes it appears Tropo maybe on his way back, good to see Irons among the disposals any comments?
My assessment from afar is that Earl might be on the right track, and we have some promising kids.
Re Spencer White, I saw something during the week, he may be out for awhile.
He was supposed to be playing this week, but didn't.
Nice to see Freo go Ownen 8.
Sooner Pav retires the better, but they are weak as piss.
I would suggest Tendai and Mayne could be back at Lathlain next year.
I also hope we have spoken to Elari a perfect 1 pointer to further enhance our midfield.

It was our kicking forward of the centre that killed us today. Mindless bombing away going forward just made it impossible to get any decent marks inside 50. Couldn't fault the effort but the lack of composure with the ball going forward just killed us. Thought Leggett did a top job on Anthony and Giannati did a great job on Peake early then had to go to Hampson after he went nuts and of course Peake then gets off the leash. Too much class EF with some serious talent going through the middle and O'Brien and Lester-Smith just powering off half back. They lost Eardley at half time which helped but I thought our boys kept at it to their credit.

Need to find another tall for that forward line. Wilkins wasn't the answer up there today.

Usual stuff let us down and its stuff that i cant see us getting any better at partly because we dont have the personel and lot to do with our shocking skill level.

We were never in the contest today although in short (very short) bursts we held our own.
Yep bombing the ball forward and hoping for the best.
Zone defence...non existant.Opposition kick in and get the ball to the defensive forward 50 arc and quickly turn defence into attack,we on the other hand are forced into the short one in the pocket fiddle fart around with it for another 4 posessions to get the ball up to the 50 arc taking forever to turn defense into attack.

East Freo butcherd the ball just as many times as us especially in the first half,Watson for them missed quite a few gettable ones.

Heaven help us if Graham goes down injured,we'll be more stuffed than we are now.

DF Tendai,Mayne and even Michael Johnson would be very much welcome because unless we get these types with that experience we are just in this comp making up the numbers.
Imo our list is as weak as i can remember, still lacking the obvious in Key personel.

Are we a work in progress?
Im not convinced we are.

Yep, without Graham we'd be completely up sh1t creek. Thought he was going to blow his stack today taking on Schofield and the runner there at one stage.

Hopefully we clear him to another club and get something for him. Something we need.

Perhaps send him up to Swans in exchange for Elari or Jacobs.

Last thing D's need is Elari coming back. Tosser was full of himself and his self importance when we had him, his unwillingness to change his role for good of team at Swans and subsequent walk out highlights he over rates himself, has no regard for being selfless and playing a role and is a dick. McMahon copped a lot of flack over Elari leaving Perth, but I think now, combined with some of his previous off field stuff, we are seeing his true colours.
Prefer to stick with what we have have running through midfield, think Dene White coming back with give tremendous grunt in middle and fire things up.
