As i havent been here for the first 6 rounds i thought i would go over the stats and try and work out where things have gone wrong and what has been obvious to me is the usual stuff, midfield getting plenty of the ball our ruckman getting heaps of taps,no forward line kicking goals and a backline that lets lots through.

So whats wrong?
Is it the coaches?
Game plan?
Our recruits?
Our local talent is just not up to it?
Second tier players dont show enough?
The rest of the comp is that far in front of us it will take years and years and years for us to catch up?
Our football department doesnt know what they are doing?

Any of the above?,maybe most of the above?
There has to be a reason why year in and year out we stink.

Our midfield definately lacks outside flair, for mine our mids are all of the same ilk.
We lack genuine talented height.

Already its only round 6 and the only interest i can see for the rest of the season is,do we or Swans get the wooden spoon?

Its just so frustrating that things on-field never change!

30+ I reckon it's all of the above.
Sadly there is no-one at the club that knows what a footballer looks like.
Nor do they have the man management skills to work with young footballers.
It is sad, but I cannot see a solution.
Fortunately there is a club called Footscray.
I doubt we will ever catch them.

Yep great news.
Also great news that the DEES are considering Chartres.
An experienced tall may be able to help out.

That will be a tough one DF considering he works as a teacher in Mandurah but he is just what we need right now. Earl should also be on the phone to Elari. Not Marty or Beattie.

SFFC4ever do you need a new CEO? You can have ours.

We short on goals how about Guy Piggott at full forward has kicked 13 goals in the ressies so far this year...or is that just too obvious...better to play the midget forward line Dennis and Walley and co.

Yep, good news that the White boys are in the ressies on Saturday. I hope they have recovered well and just need a run and may be back in the senior side next week.

I also don't mind trying to get Chartres.. 194cm.. in view of the loss of Zucconi and injury to Johnston he would be handy. My concern would be that I have never rated him and also that he has not done a full pre-season but "hey", we can't be too choosy and I would take him.

A half fit Chartres might be better than nothing right now.
He's mature and experienced.
Might just help our cause.
Depends on the points of course.
