I honestly don't know what the future of this club is. Never seem to get recruiting right and recruit the wrong types and our depth is shit house. Yet another season of misery. No leaders out there no voice. Depressing to say the least.

what was interesting from a Perth point of view was clint jones body language.... at both 1/4 & 3/4 time was right at the back head down not listening

& then again after the game was one of the last off had his head down,..perhaps regretting his decision

Wow that must be disappointing for Perth supporters after the high of the comeback win over Claremont a few weeks back. You can't really concede 7 goals to zip in the first quarter and expect to compete. Back to the drawing board I guess. Souths seem to be the real deal this year though so Perth should keep in perspective that the Doggies are playing some irresistible stuff and may well be the main challenger to Subi this year. Perth supporters should judge their team when they have played lesser opposition as they have been flogged by the two best combinations over the last week.

To have 72 Ball Disposals per Goal is a hard day at the office. Then 12 Disposals Ins 50M per Goal is a bad forward line. When Perth beat Claremont in week 3, their Offence rate was cranking along at 28%, but today was just 13%. That being a huge decrease. Regardless who they play next week, not sure how Perth can turn it around?

Not a good look yesterday. Heads dropped early, very poor body language and too much left to too few.
Belly and Wolfy can hold their heads high but they must be wondering about what their teammates were doing. Too many just did not turn up to play.
Most disappointing after a pre-season and a recruiting programme that promised some sort of improvement in onfield performance.
At least in the other losses we suffered this year we had a real crack. Even against Subi we had the same scoring shots but could not convert goal opportunities that would have made the scoreboard look quite a bit different.
We have to rebound very quickly and smarten up on ball skills. As it looks atm the season is shot to pieces again and what happens from here is in the hands of the players.

Sorry not sure what happened to the rest of post??
You look slow , unskilled and disinterested when you do not win clearances and SF were clinical in this area yesterday. Our young ruck men and his young backup are doing a sensational job for us atm.
You need White back in your side immediately.

Player by player

1 - Blue - Ordinary day
3 - Gus - Couldn't take a mark
4 - Trop - Ok
5 - Jones - Ok, but like a few have said body language not fantastic
6 - Wolf - Good
7 - Sinclair - Started the rot with a silly free kick after a south mark at the 8 and half minute mark. Still off his best
8 - JJ - Very good
10 - Latch - Pretty good
11 - Stacky - Terrible, Saw another dropped chest mark and plenty other stuff not yup to it
13 - Wally - Ordinary
15 - Wilkins - Terrible
16 - Did he play
17 - Did he play
18 - Etto - Ordinary
19 - Taylor - Not up to it
20 - Brookes - Cant remember much of him
25 - Gianatti - Not up to it
28 - Mills - Needs some muscle and speed and mongrel about him.
29 - Zucconi - Pretty good
31 - Bell - Fantastic
33 - Edmonds - Very good early, quieter after this but still good overall.
38 - Fisher - Started slowly but very good at end
40 - Dennis - Down on the usual standard he has being setting.
47 - Jones (M) - Pretty good

If 41,43 and 44 played I can't remember them.

Listened to the quarter time huddle. I thought the forward coach (what's his name?) was excellent along with Earl. Both pretty pissed off but nicely measured.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

We badly need to find some support for Angus Graham. He had 25 hitouts and took 5 marks but missed several marks under pressure. But we can't expect him to run the whole game out on the ball. In the second half he gradually tired and was really struggling in the last quarter. Unless we can help him out he may not last out the season.
