Although we have seen some significant changes on-field this year its probably worth a post to discuss the changes in the football department from last year.

Trevor Williams - Has stood down from assistant coaching role into a new role in Director of colts and development. Did I hear somewhere that this position was partly funded by WAFC to get our district back in order?

Andrew Ruck - Has stood down from league assistant to coach the colts. Probably better suited to the development team that league assistant.

Chance Bateman - Appointed to league assistant (backline). Glad he has agreed to take this on. Will be a real asset.

Michael Pratt - Accepted position of assistant coach. His CV shows a good coaching pedigree.

Any others?

Southern River has seen some significant population growth over the last 10 years so to give to East Fremantle considering their relative success over the last 10 years seems ludicrous!

Those were the days (and still are to a lesser extent) when it appeared every WAFC committee member and journalist in WA was hanging shit on the club. It wouldn't surprise me if this happened during that time because everyone wanted the club to fold and just go away......With the successful replacement being turd thunder.
