Yep BC, We are loyal and we are many. Now is the time for all Demons to rally around the club. Renew your memberships, get your friends and associates to join, get you boss to become a sponsor.

Signed up the family again . Missus and kid think I'm weird. I got a 4 year old who wants me to follow the eagles like mum because the demons always loose

Recruiting Grimley will go a long long way to the reincarnation of the PFC....not too sure the depletion of the Ovens & Murray footy league, a soon to be 32 yr midfielder and an unproven Buddy wanna be, are proof of this rebirth tho. I be hoping the likes of Marshall Jones, Chapman Jones, Reid Polak, Jared Bell & Sam Garstone are the foundation of Perth rise....hopefully these players can learn from the likes of Tropiano and McKenna on the true value of committment and desire of wanting to prove oneself at the WAFL stage thru sheer hard work.

...as Smokey says a hell of a lot hinges on these recruits living up to their potential......its a pity Perth couldnt entice an Adam Cockie type mid 20's midfielder in his prime.....still time I guess, dont doubt Jones CV, just dont think at 32 he is gonna drive you forward as much as you hope.....dont hang me for stating such, whilst I am pleased EF have got Wiley, McPharlin et al on board and a tall ex AFL mid 20's forward in Watson, still not convinced of a surge up the table.....EF still need a Grimley type to sway me tho.......get Grimley guys and I reckon PFC will definitely be replacing one out of Cl or WP for a top 5 spot......if Subi get him we are all farked again

Agree Grimley would be a great capture for the Demons. It's been a while since we have had one key forward let alone two.

Have to disagree with you though on the other players. Kristian Cary seems to be pretty talented and was in the leadership group for the Murray Bushrangers. He was either vice captain or captain, can't remember. Seems like a promising player.

Clint Jones while being 32, won a best and fairest at his club, finished runner up in the VFL best and fairest and was named centre in the VFL team of the year. I would say that he is still performing at a very high level.

As for Spencer White he isn't a Buddy wannabee that was a label the media put on him, not himself.

Like all clubs recruits, some come with good cvs and others are speculative.

Agree that to improve we just can't rely on these recruits but need the kids to develop even further.

Still a lot of water to go under the bridge but so far things are looking like they are heading in the right direction.

Mr AFL, it has to happen soon.

haha he sure is. It's 38 years atm. It's been refreshing to see the football department recruit for needs that obviously can't be filled from within.

I think with the changes that are happening with the development programs at Perth and out in the district that in future years this should hopefully bode well and see more kids get given opportunities. This is something that we have been poor at for a long time and IMO has contributed to our poor on field results.
