Mid, Ruck, Forward all ticked off the shopping list.

One more forward would be nice.

Marshall Jones coming back a bit bigger and League ready could work well with our new recruit as the 2 key forwards with Callum Collard and Walley at their feet. Be interesting to see who our lead ups will be.

Backline of Johnston and Latch with a mix of running defenders should be enough. Maybe missing 1 more tall.

Mid field of Angus, White, Trop and Clint Jones is a good starting mid group rotating through McKenna and another big bodied mid should get us more competitive. Resting Angus down forward gives another key target down forward.

Perth starting to look like a force.

Possibly throw Mitch Morton in there as well and the forward line could be dangerous. Collard and Morton need to stay fit.

Would consider the Mortons more a bonus if included in games due to how often we see them on the park.
Can imagine a few wins on the board will certainly get rid of any small 'niggles' players may have :P

Callum Walley for mine is not up to league standard.
26 years old next season i personally think his time in the WAFL is up,certainly as a league regular.

Another power forward to play CHF would be nice to go with White at FF.
Stack needs to be more consistant and now that he wont be the number 1 forward it should take the pressure off.
Mitch Morton should be a better forward if White can stand up and deliver.

Its the second tier mids, the ones that go on the ball when White,Jones.Tropinao are not there thats when the pressure will go on,this lot must step up.
Our mids also need to hit the scoreboard more often.

Imo our backline is still fragile in terms of tall quality KP's,this could be an area of weakness against the better teams.

I dont think we put too much expectation on Spencer.

Coming to a new League with different factors he is not the saving grace. Certainly a target but still 21 and plenty left to develop.

Dont agree with you 30Plus on Walley, from rounds 17 - 23 after taking a few games to find his feet 6 games 14 goals he has done his job as a small forward. Applies plenty of pressure as well with a few good run down tackles and has great pace.

Backline is a little fragile but aside from the Peel Dockers name another side where we would need to cover multiple big forwards. Boland gone from Subi, Sellar gone from Souths, EP has a selection of Eagles, Swans will be without Geapen, WP we match up on just comes down to winning the contest, Claremont we match up on. The game is certainly not lost from the Backline, our midfield is where it is lost. Not much a Backline can do when under seige when oppo mids are kicking without pressure.

Walley played another 4 league games for the year and didnt score.
Has been around the wafl traps for a while,i think we will agree to disagree on Walley.

Johnson and Latch are our tall backs but i do reckon we lack a mature tall down back with grunt, sides tend to test us out with resting ruckmen,a quality mature tall recruit in the back half is what we need imo.

I agree White may not be the saving grace but like it or not as a recruit and coming from the AFL system i think most supporters will want some return out of him for the season playing at FF
You come to the club as a recruit with 10 points and a nice little pay packet then you will want to perform at the required level.

30+, I believe that Latch and Johnston can get the job done down back given that they will not be pinch hitting elsewhere. Having said that another tall mature defender would be useful and free Johnston up for the pinch hitting. There will good support on the flanks with, say, Bell, Sinclair and Jacobs.

Yes we need another goodsize forward in attack. No lack of smaller forwards but a strong marking forward as a foil for White would be ideal. Plenty of scope for small forwards to gather opportunist goals.. Mitch Morton, Stacky, Collard etc

As far as the mids are concerned, I think we will have adequate service from Tropo, McKenna, Jones, Whitey, Wolfy combined with the running skills of Sinclair and Jacobs off half back. If we can find another strong bodied mid well and good. Perhaps Leggett can step up another notch next season. A lot will depend how they actually lineup. Trop, Jones and Whitey wont necessarily line uo together all the time. It will be interesting how Earl uses the mids.

There is a suggestion on the Subiaco line that we may be looking at Adam Cockie.
Now wouldn't it be sweet to pinch one from Subi ?
He would be very useful.....

Agree Cookie would be a good addition to our team. If he does find his way to us I don't think we will be getting another ruck/forward or tall back.

Looks like Cockie is heading back to the Lions.
